Nadege Souvenir
As the Chief Operating Officer for the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, Nadege Souvenir is responsible for the refinement, design and integration of cross-team systems and processes. She also oversees key operational functions - Human Resources, IT, Grants Administration and Learning and Evaluation. In 2016, she launched East Metro Pulse, a community perception survey of life in Dakota, Ramsey and Washington countries.
In addition to her operational leadership, Nadege leads the Facing Race Awards, supports Art in This Present Moment and focuses on racial narrative change efforts. She co-hosts the Foundation's podcast, I So Appreciate You! She speaks and writes on topics around equity in the workplace and leadership. Prior to moving to the philanthropic sector, Nadege was a corporate litigator at Dorsey & Whitney LLP and Mason LLP.
Nadege is Chair of the Minnesota Opera Board of Directors, a member of the boards of OPERA America, the Arts Partnership and the Blandin Foundation. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Fashion Week Minnesota and the Minnesota Compass Governance Committee. Nadege was the founding board chair of Trademark Theater Board and has served on gala committees for Walker Art Center and Guthrie Theater.
