What We Do

The Minnesota Council of Churches (MCC), the Muslim American Society of Minnesota (MAS) and the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation (Foundation) are collaborating on an annual gathering of Minnesota philanthropic leaders to think about how to change the narrative and counter hate in our communities. We will:

Convene an annual gathering

The first event, held in 2019, was led by MCC and MAS MN and sponsored by the Foundation. In 2020, the Minneapolis Foundation sponsored the second gathering. Due to the ongoing pandemic, there was no gathering in 2021. Now, in partnership, MCC, MAS MN, and the Foundation are hosting the third gathering.
