We are offering guided bus tours of key sites important to African Americans in the downtown Detroit area with stops at the Charles H. Wright Museum and the Motown Museum. The fee per person is $30. You will select the Excursion and pay when you register. Please note there is no refund. Groups will check in and board buses at Wayne County Community College Downtown. In order to secure your place, you will need to register and pay for the excursion by September 20, as we must reserve the tours at the museums and rent the buses.

Charles H. Wright Museum Exhibits during October:
And Still We Rise: From the tragedy of the Middle Passage to the heroism of the Civil Rights Movement and beyond, And Still We Rise offers a comprehensive look at the history of African American resilience.
Tuskegee Airman: The Tuskegee Airmen National Museum is housed in the Coleman A. Young Gallery, which is named after Detroit’s first Black mayor who was a second lieutenant, bombardier, and navigator in the Tuskegee Airmen.  Honoring the legacy and achievements of the nation's first All-Black air fighter squadron.
44th President: Visions of Our 44th President is a collective sculptural show created to recognize and celebrate the historical significance of the first African American President of the United States, Barack Obama.
